Supermarket Shopping Trip

Yes, you can “coupon” at Whole Foods!

I have been so busy lately, I have barely had time to breathe, let alone look for free items.  My shopping trips have been on a whim or “we need this item now basis”…totally unplanned, and yet I have still been able to snag some amazing deals!

A few weeks ago I started a new chapter in my life.  I began the journey to becoming a yoga instructor and started RYT200 training.  This amazing journey has changed my shopping habits two fold.

1.) I have less time and 2.) I am making a serious effort to return to “clean eating.”  Meaning  more natural, organic, and less processed foods.  Since the farmers market has been slowing down I’ve been visiting whole foods more often for fish and veggies.

Today’s entry is just a little reminder that just because we “coupon” does not mean we can not eat healthy.  Today we are going to take a look at my latest whole foods trip. *I am not including the fresh produce I bought in the picture and item break down****At my whole foods local organic apples were only $.79 a lb!!!  We stocked up, check to see if your store is offering the same deal!

I walked into whole foods with only my coupon book and reusable bags (they give you $.05 for each bag you bring from home)…no plan, and walked out with huge savings!
