Getting Back On The Bandwagon

Well, I fell off the bandwagon.

Here we are March 2nd and like so many other New Year’s Resolutioners I have totally let my 2012 goals slip off track.  I had huge expectations, even created what I thought was a fool proof plan of action, with mechanisms of holding myself accountable…unfortunately I let life get in the way and slipped right off track *sigh*

In my own defense life has been absolutely CRAZY for me.  Since my last post my whole world has flipped upside down, including starting a new job!  As you all know I have spent the past 11 months since moving to Boston searching for a full time job.  Don’t get me wrong I LOVE being a personal trainer.  Fitness is truly my life’s passion and an industry in which I am certain I will continue to work forever.  Working as a full time personal trainer is extremely stressful financially.  Sometimes you are very busy, training lots of clients and your making fantastic money.  However, every time a client is sick or goes on vacation, you’re not working and therefore not getting paid.  I really wanted to find a full time salary position.  One where I knew exactly how much money I would have coming in at the end of each month, and then continue personal training on the side because that’s what I love to do (and the extra pocket cash is nice).   Finally after months and months of searching, applying and interviewing, two fantastic job opportunities came my way at once.  When it rains it pours right?!  The position I took is actually in the finance industry (my life’s other passion to understand and save money)!!!

Despite the month hiatus this blog took, I am confident I can get right back on track. I never stopped couponing, just stopped writing about it.  I continue to work on my fitness, finance, friends and family daily, however now that life has settled down for now I can begin to track my progress once again.

So, let’s seize the day!  Don’t leave for tomorrow what you can achieve today.  Here is my weekend coupon plan 🙂
